What was the highlight of Natur Resort Panorama
Idyllic Garda location - Thank You!
Extremely friendly, helpful and professional staff in reception and in the restaurant/bar - on first name terms with many of them and our daughter was spoiled! Gorgeous location perched high above the lovely town of Malcesine and the lake with views up to Riva and the mountains. Delicious food - huge choice at breakfast and dined there in the evenings on alternate nights. Pool is large and plenty of loungers etc. also a jacuzzi-style plunge pool and paddling pool for kids. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped suite with kitchenette. Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful too. Communal areas in the bar/lounge/children's room all modern and spacious. Excellent all round and while usually we prefer to visit new places, we would definitely be tempted to return next year! Malcesine is a lovely town to wander around in the evening with lots of good restaurant options. Also had a nice day out by taking the ferry up the lake to Riva. Gardaland is a day trip - about 2.5 hour round trip? Recommend the paragliding from the mountain up behind the hotel too - the views from up the top of the mountain via cable car are worth it too but time it well as cable car gets busy.
Our suite was described by Booking.com (not the hotel) as having its own private pool - none of the rooms have this! Not the fault of the hotel though. The only downside was having to drive down into town - 800m is, as the hotel makes clear, as the crow flies and it is about 3km down a narrow, steep road. You don't get the spectacular views otherwise of course, but thought worth noting!

What was the highlight of Natur Resort Panorama
Amazing facilities and very nice staff members
Wonderful hotel facilities: lobby, bar, and especially the restaurant with it's balcony with beautiful views over lake Garda! The outside swimming pool was wonderful!! (25 meter long, very clean, and with calm atmosphere) They also have a spacious and well equipped Gymboree/play room for little ones (next door to the restaurant) Breakfast was amazing with many choices of high quality food. We also liked our dinners at the restaurant. Food was very tasty and not overpriced, service was excellent, the atmosphere very calm, and the views.... wow! Note that there are different room types. (our room had a little kitchenette; not all rooms do). You might was to inquire about the room details before booking One AC unit didn't work properly when we first entered the room. The issue was fixed very fast once we notified the staff - so I count it as a plus! We actually liked the fact that the hotel was up on the mountain (did I mention the views?...). and away from the city center. We had a car with us, so it wasn't a problem (drive to Malcesine takes about 7 minute; walk - 30 minutes down/up the hill)
We spend one night in a different room (simply because we wanted to extend our stay and the room we booked for the first 2 nights was not available). Both rooms were on the 3rd floor of the main building with balconies with amazing views over lake Garda, and similar comfort level. However, the 2nd room was closer to the road which was noticeable since we left the window open during the night. It wasn't a big deal but we liked the first room better We were charged for another room's dinner. Since we dined at the restaurant twice during our 3-night stay and the receipt included a list of dishes (vs. a summary by meal) we didn't notice it at first glance. Once we realized that the list of dishes on our bill was too long and started asking questions, the receptionist went out of way to fix the bill and was very apologetic. Despite this incident, we still highly recommend the hotel (we had a wonderful stay!) - just advice that guests check their bill before signing it

Exceptional
Amazing views from the balcony and restaurant, really professional and helpful staff. We had very pleasent three days with my wife to celebrate our special anniversary day and took also exciting paraglides from Monte Baldo. Top quality breakfast and dinner.

Wonderful
Pool, staff, fantastic views from balcony. Would rate 8.5 (but this is not an option)
Air con didn't work properly at night. 22 degrees is ok for some though. All seems a bit dated, but clean, and the pool and views make up for it.
